MONUMENT OF JENDRAL SOEDIRMAN

Jendral Soedirman Monumet is located at about 17 kilometers to the south of the town, in Bajulan village and Loceret district. In this place, General Soedirman was once spending the night and giving a struggle briefing before continuing his journey to Ponorogo.

This historic place is often visited by many people. They try to memorized the great of Soedirman struggle in fighting the Dutch. He is the great hero in Indonesia that lead his soldier to fight colonization in Indonesia, even he was sick. His great name is still remembered till now on. Because of that reason, this monument is built. It presented for General Soedirman for his effort in struggle.
